INGREDIENTS

For the burger

  • 1 lb ground beef (I used grass fed ground beef, 93% lean/ 7% fat)

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/4 cup buffalo or Frank’s Red Hot sauce

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • Handful of chopped spinach (optional)

  • Olive oil for pan

  • Lettuce wraps

For the fries

  • 1 medium sweet potato, cut lengthwise

  • 1 tbsp olive or avocado oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

HOW TO

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and lone a baking sheet with tinfoil or parchment paper.

  2. Cut and toss your sweet potato fries in the oil, salt, and pepper. Lay out in a single layer on your baking sheet. Bake for 25-35 minutes. or until cooked to your liking.

  3. While your sweet potatoes are cooking, prepare the burgers. In a large mixing bowl, mix your ingredients together.

  4. Form your mixture into patties.

  5. Heat pan over medium high heat with a splash of oil. Place burgers on pan and cook 5-6 minutes per side or until cooked to 165 degrees F.

  6. Serve burgers on a lettuce wrap with condiments of choice. Add your baked fries on the side. ENJOY!
