Creamy Broccoli Pasta

Hi peeps— I always get asked “what should I make for dinner?” This creamy broccoli pasta is the ultimate comfort food dish. All you need is a single pan and you’re done in 30 minutes or less. If you’re like me and love to cook but you’re not a fan of the clean up—this dish is for you!

If you want more of a crispy finish, bake in the oven for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Add some fresh lemon juice, italian seasoning, and salt + pepper!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • ½ sweet onion, diced

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1 ¾ cups of bone broth—I used the chicken Kettle & Fire Brand

  • 1 ½ cups whole milk

  • ½ pasta of choice—I used Banza

  • 1 head of broccoli, small florets

  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese

  • salt + pepper

OPTIONAL

  • Fresh lemon juice

  • Italian seasoning

HOW TO

  • Heat a large pan over medium-low heat. Add 2 tbsp of butter and chopped onion. Cook until onion is golden brown

  • Add garlic, broth, and milk. Stir together and bring to a boil

  • Once boiling, add pasta and cook for 2-3 minutes

  • Add broccoli florets and salt + pepper. Cover pan while allowing stream to escape—cook until pasta is done

  • Reduce heat, add parmesan cheese, milk, and salt + pepper to taste

  • ONLY for a crispy finish— bake 350 degrees for 5 minutes OR until golden brown

ENJOY!

xoxo,

TBO
