Easy Peasy Acai

Hi peeps! Today I am making açaí bowls! If you don’t know what an acai bowl is don’t feel badly, I can tell you. Acai is basically a thick smoothie that’s been topped with your choice of healthy fruits, peanut butter, almond butter, cacao bites, nuts, granola, etc. Acai bowls will end your craving for a donut and fill you up. They have become super popular because they are healthy, filling, and great for any time of the day. I like to enjoy my açaí bowl for breakfast or a snack! I love açaí, but they can be on the expensive side; so I am here to show you the easy peasy (inexpensive) way to make them! INGREDIENTS

Acai Bowl Base

  • Acai packet- I used Açaí Superfruit packs

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries

  • 3/4 cup of milk or juice

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt

  • Drizzle of honey

TOPPINGS— The toppings can be anything you want but I like to keep it simple!

  • Strawberries

  • Blueberries

  • Mango- I used frozen mangos!

  • Granola- I used Purely Elizabeth Brand

  • Coconut flakes

  • Honey

HOW TO

  1. Add your frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, frozen mango, and milk or juice to a blender and blend.

  2. Add your yogurt, honey, açaí packet and blend.

  3. Stir & blend until smooth and add any additional liquid if needed.

  4. Once the açaí is blended, add your favorite topping and don’t be shy.

  5. ENJOY!
